English Camp with Native Speakers
Having fun and learning English at the same time? Yes,
its possible at Camp Wonderland! For the fourth year in a row,
we are organizing the coolest camp in Slovakia. Your child will
feel like having entered a completely different country where teachers
speak only English, counselors help you roast marshmallows on an
open fire and new friends might come from a far-away exotic kingdom
or a nearby Slovak town.
For Whom?
To make it a truly international experience Camp Wonderland
welcomes not only Slova k kids, but also children from other
European countries and ex-pats living in Slovakia. The Camp
is for kids from 9 to 16 years old. They will be split
into grou ps according to age and language skills, so it doesnt
matter if they have just started learning English or can already
chat away.
Having Fun with English
Learning English is so much easier when you are having a good
time. Thats why we teach English through games and activities
during morning lessons. And by playing, singing, chatting and
simply having fun with the kids throughout the rest of the day,
English will get under your childs skin, much similar to them
spending 10 days in London or Florida.
The Program
English-speaking counselors and foreign teachers together have
prepared a program full of outdoor activities, sports, crazy
competitions, music, dance and laughter. We will also do lots
of adventurous stuff like water-skiing in Pieany, rock-climbing
in the Carpathians and exploring the nearby cave and medieval
castle. Of course our team is ready to entertain your child
with a variety of indoor activities on less sunny days.
The Teachers
Teachers from the US, England, South Africa, the Netherlands
and other countries will communicate with the children in English,
but they will bring more than just their language to Wonderland.
Through a rich program of activities and eve nts your child
will also discover their culture, games, sports, songs and food.

Safety
In order to guarantee your child maximum safety during their
stay at Camp Wonderland, two adults will look after each
group of 10 (one teacher and one counselor). This way, we can
give each child the care and attention they need...
Our price includes:
bus from Bratislava and back or a free one-night stay at the
camp for parents who will bring their children; teaching; lodging;
board: 3 meals a day and refreshments; complete program including
entrance fees, water-skiing and rock-climbing; all-day health
care and child health insurance.
Accommodation
The camp is located in a beautiful forest on the slopes
of the Carpathians near the town of Smolenice, just an hour
ride from Bratislava. It has 16 wooden cottages each with its
own bathroom and enough beds to accommodate 5 children and a
counselor. The area has a separate dining hall, a completely
new building for activities and disco, a playground for ball
games, a ping-pong table and a small outdoor swimming pool.
